HOW WE WORK

How is it implemented? Initially a village is selected based on the Research and Exploration performed by the team. Then the team coordinates with the local authorities (Sarpanch or RP or Corporator) to evaluate the situation, understand the needs of the locals. The team will then coordinate with the members who are eligible for and interested about the training program, and develop a project plan. Members receive training in-person for 60 to 90 days, depending on the training program and required skill level. Trainees are required to start the session by reading a book – the type of books selected also depends upon the village. Trainees are also required to participate in social activities every Saturday.
